CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme – SEATS Training Course

Course Details:

This one day CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS) Course will provide those attending with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites. This Health and Safety course is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, and covers the environmental aspects of the new touch screen Health, Safety and Environment test.

Pre-qualification criteria:

This SEATS course is intended for those who have management responsibilities on a construction site and therefore targets site supervisors, site managers, assistant site managers, site agents and site foremen.
A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.

Course Aims:

This CITB course will provide delegates with who have management or supervisory responsibilities on a construction site with basic environmental knowledge.

Course Content:

Candidates who successfully complete this safety course will be able to:

Understand the Environmental impacts of construction processes
Understand the relevant legislation and how to regulate it
Understand how to achieve compliance
Understand best practice techniques to use on site

Assessment:

Assessment will be by an end-of-course examination. The delegate must pass the SEATS Training Course exam in order to achieve certification for this course.

Certification:

Learners will receive an accredited CITB certificate on successful completion of the course.
