Work at Height Course

Course Details:

Falls from height are one of the biggest causes of workplace fatalities and major injuries, often from ladders and through fragile roofs. The Working at Height Regulations 2005 are there to try and prevent death and injury from a fall from height.

Work at height means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause injury.

The course is designed to satisfy the training and awareness requirements of relevant legislation and regulations including the Working at Height Regulations2005 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Course Aims:

On completing the course, you will understand:

  • The hazards associated with working at height.
  • The work at height hierarchy of control.
  • Carrying out work at height risk assessments.
  • Hazards associated with access equipment.
  • Fall protection and rescue plans.
